Azerbaijan produced industrial products worth 57 billion manats in 11 months

In January–November 2025, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field produced industrial products worth 57.5 billion manats, which is 1.1 percent less compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.

It was noted that production in the oil and gas sector decreased by 2.1 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 4.8 percent.

60.6 percent of industrial output was produced in the mining sector, 33.0 percent in the manufacturing sector, 5.4 percent in the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector, and 1.0 percent in the water supply, waste treatment and processing sector. In the mining sector, commodity oil production decreased by 4.7 percent, while commodity gas production increased by 1.1 percent.

In the manufacturing sector, the production of pharmaceutical products increased by 94.9 percent, the processing of wood and production of wood products by 60.9 percent, the production of computer, electronic and optical products by 49.9 percent, the production of textile industry products by 27.1 percent, the production of rubber and plastic products by 13.7 percent, the production of tobacco products by 13.2 percent, the production of food products by 9.8 percent, the production of petroleum products by 9.6 percent, the production of chemical industry products by 8.7 percent, while the production of beverages decreased by 1.6 percent, the production of construction materials by 3.4 percent, installation and repair of machinery and equipment by 4.3 percent, the production of metallurgical industry products by 8.6 percent, the production of machinery and equipment by 8.7 percent, the production of fabricated metal products by 9.7 percent, the production of furniture by 10.0 percent, the production of electrical equipment by 11.2 percent, the production of printing products by 18.7 percent, the production of leather and leather products and footwear by 19.9 percent, the production of clothing by 20.0 percent, the production of paper and cardboard by 26.2 percent, and the production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers decreased by 33.9 percent.

In the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector, production increased by 0.9 percent, and in the water supply, waste treatment and processing sector it increased by 3.3 percent.
