Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov, met with the delegation led by Oleg Korobchenko, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry told APA-Economics.
According to the information, the meeting emphasized the strengthening of economic and trade cooperation with Tatarstan, the enhancement of partnership relations between business circles, and the existence of wide opportunities for organizing joint production. Prospects for the development of cooperation in the fields of trade, industry, energy, logistics, education, healthcare and other areas, as well as the holding of the next meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on trade-economic, scientific-technical, and cultural cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Tatarstan were discussed.
The parties evaluated the work carried out within the framework of creating a joint industrial zone, the results achieved in the vehicle production project, and other initiatives being implemented.
