Azerbaijan’s Kulevi oil terminal in Georgia takes the lead in the region

Baku. Vugar Mustafayev - APA-Economics. SOCAR-owned Kulevi Oil Terminal in Georgia loaded 1 million tons of oil products over six months, said State Oil Company of Azerbaijan.
Under the contract, the terminal shall handle 4 million tons of oil a year.
The volume of oil products increased by further 80 000 tons over the past two months.
«Despite the recent events in Georgia, the oil terminal has maintained normal operation. The terminal is competing with other counterparties and has already taken the lead in the region. High service provided in the terminals has increased the interest of international companies,” said the terminal.
