APA reports that the publishing of voting papers started on September 30. The publishing and distributing of ballots are being carried out in parallel.
According to the Election Code’s requirements, all conditions have been created for election commissions, observers and authorized people of the registered candidates, as well as media representatives to observe the process.
Member of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Galib Orujov told journalists that ballot papers have been handed to a number of Constituency Election Commissions up to now: “The process is being carried out under the CEC rules determined in accordance with the country’s legislation. The ballot papers are being handed under the special control. High-level security measures have been taken.”
Orujov said that the handing of voting papers will fully be completed on October 4 - 5 days before the voting.
5,159,255 ballot papers will be published. The process to publish and hand ballots to be published at the Azerbaijani Parliament’s publishing house is being controlled by the Special State Protection Service.
