Touching on negative cases in the debates of presidential candidates in Public TV, Panahov said that incidents worse than those in Azerbaijan happen in the debates in other countries: “It shows the level of the candidate. The society shouldn’t be concerned about it.”

CEC Chairman said that mature politicians can’t be irritated, one of the main issues is the behavior of politicians in extreme situations: “Presidential candidate of the National Council of Democratic Forces Jamil Hasanli violated the legislation by insulting the President that is prohibited by the Constitution. The Central Election Commission has always tried to compromise candidates, so we made only a serious warning.”
