Asaf Guliyev leaves APFP and National Council

Asaf Guliyev told APA that he doesn’t want to speak thoroughly about his resignation.

Guliyev added that in this regard he has posted a status on his Facebook account:

“The establishment of the National Council was welcomed by society. Then, I’m concerned over the remarks in the National Council’s activity, internal contradictions and the fact those who have called the National Council a project of Russia and conducted propaganda against the National Council were moved forward in the council’s activity. I think that society does not forgive us for defeat and failure in the elections for 20 years. I believed in the sincerity of the fight and always stood behind the truth. Of course, I will continue moving this path. Taking into account the above-mentioned facts I have left APFP and National Council.”

Guliyev was a chairman of the Meeting Committee of the National Council.
