Spokesperson for the CMB Rahima Dadashova told APA that the visit aims at familiarization of the Chairman of CMB, the organizer of the Hajj pilgrimage, with the process.

Pashazadeh will also participate in the organization of voting of the Azerbaijani pilgrims in Mecca in the presidential elections.

CMB Chairman and the accompanying persons will vote together with pilgrims in Mecca on the election day.

As a result of the negotiations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, an agreement was reached to hold the voting.

Authorized representative of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan Ramig Nuraliyev has already been sent to Mecca to control the election process.
