Lawyer Fakhraddin Mehdiyev told APA that a judgment has been passed at the hearing. According to judgment, Karimli and Salahov have been sentenced to 25-day administrative arrest and Nuriyev to 30-day administrative arrest.

Spokesman for the Interior Ministry Orkhan Mansurzade told APA that police officers approached three unknown persons tearing off the election posters and campaign materials of the presidential candidates and called them to observe the discipline in Nasimi district yesterday: “A little bit drunken men resisted to the police ignoring their legal requirements and violated the public order. The police took actions against these persons and sent the collected materials to the court for investigation.”

Mansurzade also noted that the identities of the detainees, including Ali Karimli’s son were revealed afterwards: “Identities of the detainees were revelaed during documentation."

They faced charges under article #310.1 (insubordination to lawful demands of the police) of the Code of Administrative Offences.
