The Police Office told APA that Jamil Hasanli, presidential candidate of the body representing itself as the National Council of Democratic Forces held a rally authorized by Baku City Executive Authority at the stadium of Sports and Health Complex in Yasamal district on September 22. Totally 2000 people including members of Musavat Party, Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, Open Society Party, Classic Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, El Movement and other opposition parties, non-government and youth organizations attended the rally that lasted from 16:00 till 18:00.
Flagrant violations of public order or the rule of law were not recorded.
