YAP Executive Secretary Ali Ahmadov meets with Chinese ambassador

Baku. Elnur Mammadliâ€“APA. Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov met with Ambassador of the Peopleâ€™s Republic of China to Azerbaijan Zhang Haizhou on Tuesday. YAP press service told APA the ambassador met with Ahmadov on the occasion of ending his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan. The ambassador highly appreciated the Azerbaijani-Chinese bilateral relations and said President Ilham Aliyevâ€™s visit to China played important role in rapprochement and development of the relations. Zhan Haizhou expressed confidence in further development of the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and China.

Ahmadov said YAP was always keeping the development of relations with the Chinese Communist Party in the focus of its attention. He noted that Azerbaijan was on the eve of very important political campaign and briefed the ambassador about the preparations for the referendum. He said he believed in realization of the proposals an initiatives forwarded for the development of relations between the countries. Assistants to YAP Executive Secretary Mubariz Gurbanli and Siyavush Novruzov also attended the meeting.
