Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. A new Friendship Group on interparliamentary relations has been set up in today’s sitting of the parliament, APA reports. Azerbaijan-Ireland Friendship Group was established to improve the relations with the parliament of Ireland. MP Rafael Jabrayilov was elected chairman of the group.
The parliament also confirmed Lala Abbasova’s dismissal from Azerbaijan-Israel Interparliamentary Friendship Group and Asim Mollazadeh’s admission to the group.
Lala Abbasova said she left Azerbaijan-Israel Interparliamentary Friendship Group protesting against Israel’s military operations in Palestine.
