Baku. Elnur Mammadli – APA. Heads of political parties represented in Azerbaijani parliament will invite the parliamentarians representing parties in Turkish parliament to Baku, chairman of Motherland Party Fazail Agamali told APA. He said that the steps taken to improve the relations between Turkey and Armenia raised concern and there was a need to clarify the situation. Agamali said heads of political parties represented in Azerbaijani parliament had discussions on the points that might damage Turkey-Azerbaijan relations and passed a decision to hold a conference with Turkish parliamentarians.
“We came to the conclusion that Turkey is having intensive talks with Armenia to open borders and this contradicts Azerbaijan’s interests. Improvement of Armenia-Turkey relations will have a negative impact on the problem,” he said.
Fazail Agamali said Motherland Party, Citizen Solidarity Party, Great Establishment Party, United Azerbaijan Popular Front Party and Justice Party will organize the conference.
The final decision on the date of the conference will be made on March 6.
