Azerbaijani Presidentâ€™s visit to Mingachevir ends

Mingachevir-APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with the activity of the Kur electronic production LLC.
The Kur LLC started working in September 2005 within the framework of the State Program on socio-economic development of regions.
The company produces competitive high technology products. These products won the â€œquality tournamentâ€ organized by the Central and Eastern European countries. It was awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification by Moody international.
The company played a key role in providing schools with computers. At the request of the Education Ministry, the company produced 27217 computers for schools. Kur exports its computers to Moldova and Georgia and is now holding talks to deliver its products to Turkmenistan.
The Head of State got familiar with the production shop here.
The company assemblies 140 computers per day. It employs 62 people. Average salary is AZN 230.

The President attended the opening ceremony of â€œMingachevir IZOLITâ€ OJSC, â€œInterenerjiâ€ LLC, â€œRiver sideâ€ hotel.
The President familiarizing with construction of Kur Olympic Complex in MIngachevir was informed that rowing base will be established here. It has been constructed since 2007. 240 workers are engaged in the construction, 120 of them are Serbians. The complex will open late in year.
