On the initiative of Speaker Ogtay Asadov parliamentarians commemorated Khojaly Genocide victims by a minute silence. Asadov said Armenians committed genocide in Khojaly town of Azerbaijan on the night of February 25-26 in 1992. Speaker said Khojaly Genocide was one of the gravest crimes of the mankind and added that commemorative events on the 17th anniversary of the tragedy were held in a number of countries.
Ogtay Asadov said members of the Parliament also attended the commemorative events.
Following this, the agenda was discussed in the Parliament.
