Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev issued an order to perpetuate the memory of Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh, President’s press service told APA. Under the order, Baku Mayor’s Office is to name a street after Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh, put a memorial plaque on the building where Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh lived (Istiglaliyyet street, 9), Shaki region executive office is to name a street in Shaki after Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh and erect Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh’s bust in Shaki.
The Cabinet of Ministers is to institute Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh stipend for the students of philology and name one of the secondary schools in Shaki after Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh.
