Ramiz Mehdiyev approves plan of measures on 17th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide

The monument erected for the memory of victims of Khojaly Genocide in Khatai district and Alley of Martyrs will be visited on February 26. Moreover, Victims of Khojaly Genocide will be commemorated for a minute of silence at 17.00 in the country.
The plan of measures includes covering of materials on Khojaly Genocide via foreign mass media, TV Channels and internet and organization of events in Azerbaijani embassies in foreign countries, representations and Diasporas to increase awareness of international community about the realities of Khojaly Genocide.
According to the plan of measures, TV and radios, mass media of the country will present materials on Khojaly Genocide, various events will be arranged in organizations, exhibition halls, universities and secondary schools as well as documentary and feature films about the struggle for national freedom will be demonstrated.

Moreover, martyrsâ€™ families in the cities and regions temporarily settled by Khojaly residents will be rendered aids.
