Union for Democracy and AMIP refuse invitation of the Movement for Karabakh and the Republic

Baku. Elnur Mammadliâ€“APA. Leadership of the Movement for Karabakh and the Republic held its meeting on Tuesday. Representatives of the Union for Democracy and Azerbaijan National Independence Part (AMIP) didnâ€™t attend the meeting despite that they were invited, Head of the Musavat Partyâ€™s Central Executive Office Arif Hajili told APA. He said members of the Movement regrettably accepted the action of the opposite side.

Hajili said they discussed results of signature-campaign for the March 18 Referendum and pressures the oppositionists faced during this period. They also discussed legality of the referendum and decided to take all possible measures to stop the referendum.
Representatives of Musavat, Democrat, Peopleâ€™s Front, Citizen and Development, Umid parties, as well as head of the Peace and democracy Institute Leila Yunus attended the meeting.
