Azerbaijanâ€™s ruling party issues statement condemning the killing of 13-year-old child

The statement reads that tragic death of this child caused the deep anger and fury of the whole Azerbaijani nation: â€œPurposely and dirty acts of Armenians, who select minors as target, are a part of genocide policy of Armenians against our nation which has lasted for many years. Constant violation of ceasefire, killing of civilians, especially minors in such time when, there is being conducted intensive negotiations on regulation of Azerbaijan-Armenia, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, show non-sincerity of them and once more prove that they want to disturb the negotiations process.

The murder of 9-years old Fariz Badalov by Armenian sniper on March and the other such terror acts are the consequences of racist thought raised in Armenian to the level of state policy. The color of Armenians clearly appears during such facts. The New Azerbaijan Party decisively condemns such bloody inhuman incident, calls the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs who are engaged in the conflictâ€™s settlement, the world community to express the objective opinion to this incident, and move more decisively in order to stop the Armenian aggression and filicides.

Shahmaliyeva Aygun Zireddin, 13, was killed, her mother Shahmaliyeva Elnara Mammadtagi, 32, injured in the thigh on July 14 as the explosive device blasted in Tovuz regionâ€™s Alibeyli village that borders on Armenia.

The toy resembling a dog with a built-in explosive device was floated down the Tovuz river by Armenians. Jafarov Elsever Hasan and Shahmaliyeva Aygun Zireddin found the toy and brought it to the house of Jafarov Hasan. While playing Shahmaliyeva threw the toy on the table, blast happened as a result of it.

Similar incident happened in 1994. Two children were killed, one injured as the toy put into the river by Armenians blasted.
