Baku City Executive Power responds to appeal of Islamic Party of Azerbaijan on holding rally

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. Baku City Executive Power (BCEP) responded to the appeal of the Islamic Party of Azerbaijan (IPA) in connection with the intention to hold a rally in the capital.

IPA deputy chairman Haji Akif Heydali told APA that the cityâ€™s leadership refused to appeal to the party in connection with the authorization of the intention to hold a meeting July 5, near â€œUlduzâ€ metro station or in front of â€œTabrizâ€ cinema. The BCEP considered inappropriate the holding of rally in the official reply given to the IPA chairman Elchin Manafov.

Heydarli said that the BCEPâ€™s answering letter has not been discussed, the party has not passed any decisions on its next steps.

The BCEP was appealed on rally on June 28. It was planned to demand solution of Karabakh conflict, prevention of islamophoby, release of the members of the party
