He said Baku Prosecutor’s Office completed investigation of the case of Sahib Karimov, Babek Hasanov, Zulfugar Eyvazov, Elshan Hasanov, Arif Alishli and Elnur Israfilov over the unauthorized rally held by the members of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, Musavat, Azerbaijan National Independence Party and Classic Popular Front Party on April 2. The materials of the criminal case were submitted to Sabail district court.
Investigation is being continued concerning the case of eight other defendants.
Criminal case was launched on the April 2 happenings on articles 233 (organizing or taking active part in actions resulting in the violation of public order) and 315 (resisting or using force against government representative) of the Criminal Code. 14 were brought to account.
