Azerbaijanâ€™s Deputy Prime Minister lays down conditions for international donor organizations

Baku. Sevil Zeynalgizi â€“ APA. â€œAzerbaijan respects all international organizations and it must be mutual. We must also be respected,â€ Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Ali Hasanov told journalists, APA reports. Ali Hasanov said any organization implementing a project regarding internally displaced persons in Azerbaijan must say â€œThis project is being implemented for the people suffered as a result of Armeniaâ€™s aggression against Azerbaijanâ€.

â€œIf any organization, donor do not say this, the implementation of the project will not be permitted. How can it be that you realize a project for the internally displaced persons in Azerbaijan, but do not say that these people suffered from Armeniansâ€™ aggression. This is not right,â€ he said.

Answering questions about the meeting of Azerbaijani, Armenian and Russian presidents that will be held in Kazan, Deputy Prime Minister said the international organizations interested in the resolution of Karabakh problem must influence Armenia, not Azerbaijan.

â€œWhy should they influence Azerbaijan? Azerbaijanâ€™s territories have been under occupation for 20 years. Azerbaijan has been stating for 20 years that the problem must be solved peacefully. Therefore, it is not right to regard both sides similarly, keep balance while making joint statements. I think it is not right to dictate something to both sides similarly.

Unambiguously, influence must be made on Armenia. The entire world knows that Armenia does not come to terms. The Armenian leadership demonstrates non-constructive position. Resolute steps must be taken so that peace agreement on the resolution of the conflict is signed. How long do the Azerbaijani people tolerate? If the international organizations make influence on Armenia, results may be produced in the next meeting,â€ he said.
