He said that the reason of it is that the meeting is unauthorized. “Representative of the CPFP also signed the letter sent to the Baku City Executive Power by the Public Chamber. If the rally had been authorized, we would have joined it. But as we have said before, we will not participate because the action is unauthorized. Now the CPFP is preparing for the congress”.

Azerbaijani National Independence Party (AMIP) will not also join the PC’s June 19 rally. The party secretary on propaganda and press Ali Orujov told APA that the party has frozen its participation in the chamber recently, but he also added that some members of AMIP, including himself expected to join the rally on June 19.

Members of both parties – CPFP and AMIP are free in the participation in June 19 rally.

Though the PC appealed to the Baku City Executive Power (BCEP) on holding rally in front of Narimanov cinema, BCEP didn’t allow it. Instead BCEP offered to hold it in Bibiheybat settlement, in the square outside the driving school. The PC Coordination Council passed decision on holding unauthorized rally 17.00-19.00 on June 19 in front of Narimanov cinema in Baku.
