Internally displaced persons polled in Azerbaijan

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. Karabakh Liberation Organization polled the internally displaced persons.

Press service of the organization told APA that 1000 people were polled in Baku, Absheron, Naftalan, Ganja, Shaki, Aghdam, Berde, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Goranboy, Jalilabad regions. 65.9 percent of the respondents were men, 34.1 percent were women.

73.2 percent of the respondents said they lost their closest relatives. The poll showed that each family suffered approximately $150 000 -200 000 damage.
To the question â€œWhich savageries of Armenians did you witness or hear?â€, the respondents said: â€œThey killed babiesâ€, â€œThey beat my father to deathâ€, â€œThey removed the manâ€™s heart and put in his palmâ€, â€œThey ripped open pregnant womanâ€™s abdomenâ€, â€œThey tied to the tree and burnt the wife of my fatherâ€™s uncleâ€, â€œThey put out eyes, cut off earsâ€, â€œThey cut off heads on the graves of Armeniansâ€, â€œBabies were bayonetedâ€, â€œThey buried two wounded captives aliveâ€, â€œI saw them tie hostages to the tree and burnâ€ etc.

85.6 percent of the respondents assessed negatively the activity of the international organizations.
To the question â€œHow can the occupied territories be released?â€, 66.3 percent of the respondents said they preferred military solution.
