Age limit doesnâ€™t concern university professors in Azerbaijan

The lawmakers discussed draft amendments to the Labor Code, laws on psychiatric aid, healthcare of population and Family Code as well, APA reports. According to the Labor Code amendment, age limit for the workers of state-financed institutions will not concern the university professors.

36 amendments were proposed for the law on psychiatric aid, said deputy chairman of the commission Musa Guliyev. A patient of the psychiatric stationary can meet with Human Rights Commissioner, use money and other means, observe religious ceremonies. It will prevent forcible hospitalization of the patients to the psychiatric stationeries. Guliyev said the amendments consider the protection of human rights.

According to the healthcare law amendments, persons suffered from the domestic violence will be provided with free medical services at the public medical centers.

The Family Code amendment is about the deprivation of paternal rights. It noted that the parents committing domestic violence against their children can be deprived of paternal rights.

After the discussions, the draft amendments were recommended to be discussed at the parliament.
