Spring session of Azerbaijani parliament ends on May 31

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. Azerbaijani parliament will hold two meetings within the framework of the spring session by May 31, spokesman for the parliament Akif Tevekkuloglu told APA.

The meetings will be held on May 27 and May 31. Tevekkuloglu said the May 31 meeting is the last meeting of the spring session. The spokesman noted that extraordinary meetings can be held in June, if there are additional issues, he added that there are no such issues on the agenda.

The agenda of the two meetings includes nine issues. The parliamentarians will discuss draft laws on amendments to the “Implementation of the state budget of Azerbaijan Republic for 2010”, “State budget of Azerbaijan Republic for 2011”, “Budget of the State Social Protection Fund for 2011”, amendments to the law on “Traffic”, Code of Administrative Offences, Civil Procedure Code, Criminal Code, Code of Execution of Sentences.

The parliament will confirm the Agreement between Azerbaijan Republic and the Holy See on the legal status of the Catholic Church in Azerbaijan.
