Azerbaijani Prosecutor Generalâ€™s Office issues statement on structural changes at Department to Combat Corruption

Press service of the Prosecutor Generalâ€™s Office told APA that an order was signed on May 12, 2011, to improve the structure of the Department to Combat Corruption under the Prosecutor Generalâ€™s Office, confirm the regulations of the structures of the department.

Under the order, organizational and information support division, operation division and division for operational support were established at the Department to Combat Corruption. Analytical-information division was cancelled, preventive measures and investigation division, group of authorized experts were established at the department.

As a result of the structural reforms, division for internal investigations was cancelled, Internal Security Service was established on their basis.

Basing on the abovementioned, appointments were made in the administrative staff, relevant changes were made in rotation.
