Azerbaijani President attends foundation laying ceremony of Central Regional Hospital in Agjabadi

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the ceremony of foundation laying of the 205-bed Central Regional Hospital at Husu Hajiyev Street in the town of Agjabadi on May 6. According to APA, the head of state had a look at the exhibition of general plan and project of the hospital to be constructed in the region.

Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev informed the President that the hospital will be built in 4-ha territory and it will have four large and three subsidiary buildings. There will be emergency surgery unit and ambulance-helicopter service in the hospital. The helicopters landing area will be on the top of the building.

President Aliyev was informed that the hospital will have an opportunity to serve not only the residents of Agjabadi, but nearby regions as well.

Then head of state lowered the time capsule into the foundation of the building and put the concrete-pouring installation in operation.
