Igbal Agazadeh proposes adoption of law on â€œAmnestyâ€ on occasion of May 28 â€“ the Republic Day

Agazadeh noted the great importance of this lawâ€™s adoption and said that tens of families were waiting for this day: â€œTens of families were waiting for an amnesty on this day. I hope that the president will raise this question on the eve of this day, using his legislation initiative rightâ€.

Agazadeh asked the inclusion of articles of persons detained in April 2 rallies to this document during the adoption of amnesty. The MP offered a suggestion on the making of annexes and amendments to the law on â€œPolitical partiesâ€ till the discussion of the state budget.

MP Siyavush Novruzov said that the law on â€œAmnestyâ€ is not concerned to person who committed grave crime: â€œIf any journalist, any politician, betrays his country financing by the foreign country, he its not a political prisoner, he is a real criminal. Thatâ€™s why they must serve imprisonment till the end. â€
