Musavat and APFP issue statement of protest

Baku – APA. Musavat Party issued a statement in a protest against the criminal investigation of April 2 rally. According to APA, the party said in its statement that 13 people, including the party official Arif Hajili are detained illegally.

The statement reads that every day tens of people are invited to prosecution office to give testimony.

Musavat Party expressed protest against the searches in the party’s headquarters, 7-day arrest of Musavat’s official from Gubadly region Nurlan Aliyev, reinstate of criminal investigation against lawyer Vidadi Isgandarli and other issues.

Azerbaijan Popular Front Party also issued a statement on Monday informing about the pressure on the party activists.

The party said that head of the APFP’s organization in Jalilabad Tazakhan Miralamli, activist from Sabirabad region Sahib Rustamli, head of the APFP’s regional organization in Yardimli Gulbala Ahmadli, APFP official from Shirvan region Rashad Hasanov lost their jobs because of their political faith.
