Ali Ahmadov: â€œThe opposition in Azerbaijan has no socio-political support and it should realize itâ€

Their ambitions make it difficult for these parties to unite their forcesâ€, deputy chairman and executive secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov mold journalists, APA reports.

He said there are parties and groups, which introduce themselves as an opposition in Azerbaijan, and are based on different political ideologies and principles and therefore they can not unite. â€œThe radical opposition parties make noisy statements, but their uniting is an insignificant talk onlyâ€.

Ahmadov also made comments on the Musavat Party leader Isa Gambarâ€™s address to the Baku Mayorâ€™s Office. â€œThe opposition is not relying on the Azerbaijani realities, but it is inspired by the processes somewhere despite that those processes have no relation to Azerbaijan. They determined ideology of the country in their own way and decided to break stability in Azerbaijan. The society doesnâ€™t intend to accept the climate of rallies. The opposition of Azerbaijan has no socio-political support. It is a reality that could be realized by the opposition, but the opposition doesnâ€™t intend to accept it for unknown reasons. Isa Gambar could have an idea to talk with someone, but he should know that have the people, whom he intend to talk with, an intention to talk with him? Isa Gambar can at least to ask the cityâ€™s authorities to allocate place for their actionsâ€.
