Huseynova said they investigated it.
“False reports spread that a five-year-old child and her mother were detained by the police during the demonstration. Our representatives contacted Interior Ministry and the related police office. It became known that they were sent away from the site of the unauthorized demonstration for their security. The reports that they were held at the police office are not true,†he said.
Accusing the child’s mother of irresponsibility Hijran Huseynova said measures are taken in most European countries to increase the responsibility of parents. In Azerbaijan parents are not punished in such cases. She did not rule out doubtful moments in the politicization of the incident.
