YAP deputy secretary Siyavush Novruzov: “The so-called Public Chamber organization has failed todayâ€
He said that it was the indicator of the people’s attitude to the PC’s: “They said that the people support us. But it emerged that it was wrong. The people are around the statehood, the president, because the people very well know who they are. No one form the leaders excluding some persons came to participate in the action. Only Panah Huseyn was seen in “Park Bulvarâ€, near “Sahil†metro station, and then went away silently. Some other persons do it too. The other persons didn’t come to he mass rally because they didn’t believe to its truthâ€. The so-called Public Chamber organization has failed today. We knew it. Though they brought 5-6 persons from regions giving them money, these people has not came this time. All things that have happened today prove that the Azerbaijani people can distinguish the white from black.
Novruzov said that though the Baku City Mayor’s Office set a place to the Public Chamber for holding the mass rally, they refused that place because of shortage of social bases: “They give an interview to the newspapers and say that the city is not seen from that territory. Are you going to watch city or hold a rally? All these show that the purpose of these persons is to trouble waters. Otherwise they would hold a rally in the unauthorized place. Let them hold, the journalists as well as some international organizations, ambassador, their assistants, those who gave money to come and look. One ambassador had a dialogue with Isa Gambar. The ambassador said that 600 people participated, but Gambar said no, 800. then they announce to the community that 5000 people participated in the rally. Shame!... They even don’t win support of 0.01 per cent of the Azerbaijani electors.â€
Novruzov said that the Public Chamber is an illegal organization: “it is known who has the PC’s string, pulling this string, moving this string, they move too. They must not have faces to look at people’s eye after today’s failed rallyâ€
