Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attends inauguration of Heydar Aliyev Center in Astara

Baku – APA. On April 15, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attended the inauguration of Heydar Aliyev Center in Astara. APA reports that the President cut the red ribbon symbolizing the official opening and familiarized himself with the conditions provided in the Center.
The construction of the Center started in January of 2011. The monument to the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev was erected in the entrance hall of a two-storey building. President familiarized himself with photographs and documents reflecting different periods of national leader Heydar Aliyev`s life and activity.
The President also familiarized himself with chess room, art studio, applied art studio and e-library on the second floor of the Complex.
Then President Ilham Aliyev wrote his cordial words to the Center’s memorial book.
