Deputy chairman of YAP: An attempt to violate stability in Azerbaijan can have an effect of serious blow to the national security

Baku. Parvin Abbasov â€“ APA. â€œThe radicalsâ€™ attempts towards unauthorized rally aim rather at violating stability than holding protest action. The current socio-political stability in Azerbaijan serves the national interests, but it seems that it does not meet the desires of the radical wing of the opposition who keep their political ambitions in the foreground. Actually, stability also favors the opposition. But the opposition that sees political activity only in holding demonstrations is not interested in stability and it tends to create elements of tension in the socio-political processes. The recent attempts of the opposition failed, as the Azerbaijani society appreciates stability. People have seen the benefit of stability,â€ deputy chairman, executive secretary of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov said in his interview to the partyâ€™s website, APA reports.

Ali Ahmadov said the oppositionâ€™s activeness concerning rallies is by no means connected with the internal factors.
â€œCool attitude and indifference of the society towards their calls for demonstration prove this. It seems that the known developments in a number of Arab countries encouraged the radical opposition to derive benefit from outside factors. They know very well that there is no ground for such developments in Azerbaijan, therefore they are attempting to violate stability in the country while these revolutions have not gone out of date, and are in the focus of attention of the international community. A number of outside forces also derive benefit from the radical opposition. No country is interested in the violation of stability. An attempt to violate stability in Azerbaijan actually can have an effect of serious blow to the national security, because our country is at war with Armenia. It is our national duty to take back our occupied territories. In this situation only Armenians will benefit from the violation of socio-political stability. No attractive slogan can justify the actions aiming to violate stability. All efforts, resources and even calls of the people, state and society must aim to fulfill the sacred duty such as liberation of the Azerbaijani territories,â€ he said.
