Azerbaijani MIA: Attempts of unauthorized rally and violation of public order will be prevented

Spokesman for the ministry Ehsan Zahidov told APA that Baku Mayor Office set a relevant place in the capital for the holding of mass rallies: â€œBaku Mayor Office allowed the various parties to hold rally in the concrete place. If they hold rally at that place, the police officers will ensure the public tranquility and the participantsâ€™ security according to the law. Otherwise if they try to hold the unauthorized rally in Bakuâ€™s central streets and squares and attempt to break the public tranquility, the rally will be prevented.â€

Baku Mayorâ€™s Office replied to the letter sent by the Public Chamber concerning the rally. Baku Mayorâ€™s Office had not given permission to hold rally in the square in front of the Narimanov cinema. They offered to hold the rally in the square in front of the driving school in Elchin Azizov street, â€œ20-ci saheâ€ housing estate, Bibiheybet settlement.
