An enlarged meeting of the board was held at the Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan

Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Ramil Usubov noted the high relevance of the issues discussed, which cover important aspects of the activities of internal affairs. He emphasized the importance of ongoing interventions in the organization of operational and investigative activities. This is especially true disclosure of crimes committed secretly, which is an indicator of professionalism of the operatives and officials.

At the same time, the Minister noted that the highly professional fight against drug trafficking is essential for the protection of human rights and freedoms, the gene pool, protection of human life and health. He said although in recent years in this area has established an effective works, but the gains did not reflect the true state of affairs. Along with progress in the work of some of the territorial police force have significant shortages and shortcomings.

Chief operational-search management Emin Shekinski and Chief of the Main Directorate for Combating Drug Hazi Aslanov made speech at the meeting.

Summing up the meeting the Minister stressed the importance of taking all measures required by law, to the victims of crimes to persons, property damage was recovered at the stage of preliminary investigation. He also stressed the need to apply the most stringent measures against law enforcement officers violate the rights and freedoms.
