Baku City Police Office hold meeting with Public Chamber rally committee

According to APA, they met with the Police Officeâ€™s deputy chief Yashar Aliyev and chief of the Baku City Prosecutor Officeâ€™s department for police control Panah Abbasov. After the meeting, Ali Orujov told journalists that they were warned about the Public Chamberâ€™s rally planned to be held in the Fountain Square on April 2. â€œYashar Aliyev told us that if there is confrontation during the rally police will not be responsible for that. We said that we would use our constitutional rights to hold an action tomorrow. We also noted that we will not be responsible for unpleasant casesâ€.

Member of the rally committee Fouad Gahramanli was also invited to the police office, but he didnâ€™t attend the meeting.
