"Moscow waits for answers to all questions about the implementation of the "Grain Agreement" before considering the possibility of extending it," said Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
"All the issues I mentioned will be satisfactorily resolved before the extension of the agreement is considered," said Lavrov.
According to him, Moscow has asked the United Nations for data on the destination and end-consumers of Ukrainian grain exports
'Within the framework of the package” agreement signed on July 22 in Istanbul, buyers of the Ukrainian grain are countries that are not among the poorest countries, only a small share of cargo leaving Black Sea ports reaches the poorest countries. More than half of Ukrainian grain goes to EU countries. The UN has statistics in this regard. We urged our counterparts to more actively work with the UN Secretary-General that an initial intention of his package agreement, an agreement aiming at helping the poorest countries may be realized," said the Russian MFA.
