US President Donald Trump has warned that Washington could launch a “very powerful strike” against Iran if Tehran continues activities at a suspected new nuclear site near Natanz, APA reports.
Trump made the remarks during a speech at the Republican Party’s national convention in Dallas ahead of the November midterm elections.
“We are seeing certain activity at Mount Kolang. I would advise Iran not to play games because we will have to hit them very hard. We have no choice,” Trump said.
The US President did not rule out directly striking the site in question.
“Someone said there is certain activity at that site. We may have to hit that one too,” Trump added.
