Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has claimed that Ukraine planned a terrorist attack against the British ambassador in Moscow, APA reports, citing the FSB.
According to the statement, a Russian citizen working as a security guard at the British Embassy was detained on suspicion of being an agent of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
The FSB claims that the detainee collected information about the British Embassy's security system on the instructions of Ukrainian blogger Karpenko.
The Russian security service also claimed that Ukraine planned to organize attacks against the British Embassy in order to draw London into a direct conflict with Russia and obtain additional weapons.
The FSB statement alleged that the Kyiv authorities were prepared to carry out acts of sabotage and terrorism even against their strategic allies in pursuit of their own interests.
