Georgy Maisashvili: Azerbaijanis will feel themselves as free and independent citizens in the country they live in, if I am elected president

Maisashvili said he promised his voters economic growth in free and democratic society.
â€œIt is difficult to gain votes in Georgia, because the present government has taken the control of everything in order to gain votes. I will make the same promise to all Georgian citizens, as well as Azerbaijanis, Georgians and other ethnic groups. Azerbaijanis should first of all be able to compete in Georgian economy. I know that Azerbaijanis have education-related problems. I promise to provide conditions for them to study,â€ he said.
Georgi Maisashvili said that he has a lot of Azerbaijani friends.
â€œI have a lot of Azeri neighbors. They support my candidacy. I will provide conditions for all Azerbaijanis and Georgian citizens to live free and be free citizens, if I am elected president. I promise they will feel themselves as free and independent citizens in the country they live in. I promise them the society that will be a part of this country,â€ he said.
Georgy Maisashvili said they make special arrangements for the meeting with Azerbaijani voters.
â€œWe have prepared a big bus. You can also join this march. We will start meetings in Gardabani, Bolnisi and other territories, where Azerbaijanis live, over the weekend. I want to knock at every door and greet everyone,â€ he said. /APA/
