Over 500 poisoned and 3500 injured while breaking up rallies in Georgia

Chief of Georgian Azerbaijanis International Council Fazil Aliyev held a press conference on the recent events in Georgia, APA reports.
Fazil Aliyev called the opposition rallies in Tbilisi “people’s movement”. He said that about 1500 Azerbaijanis joined the rallies, which started on November 2 by 15 political parties and over 70 NGOs.
Members of the organization Ali Babayev and Ramiz Bakirov also addressed the protesters, voiced the problems of Azerbaijanis living Georgia and demanded clarification of the arrest of over 40 Azerbaijanis.
Fazil Aliyev said over 500 people were poisoned from tear gas, which was used to break up the rally, and about 3500 people were injured. /APA/
