School personnel and parents to hold protest action, if Georgian director is appointed to Azerbaijani school in Tbilisi

â€œAccording to the rules, Guardiansâ€™ Council consisting of teachers and parents is to choose one of the candidates. If the council does not twice choose one of the candidates, Education Ministry appoints the director for the third time,â€ he said.
Pirmammadov said that Guardiansâ€™ Council of school #73 refused the candidates twice.
â€œWe have no choice, the only way out is to protest,â€ he said.
The school personnel and parents said that they will hold protest action, if Georgian director is appointed.
Press secretary of Azerbaijani embassy in Georgia Elkhan Polukhov told APAâ€™s Georgia bureau that Education Ministry held special examinations to choose directors. Only seven Azerbaijan could pass the exams. According to unofficial reports, two of them were removed in the stage of attestation. Polukhov said that there are 124 Azerbaijani schools in Georgia and according to the results of the exams, only seven of them may have Azerbaijani directors. /APA/
