Mir Hossein Mousavi meets his daughters

Baku. Real Jafarli – APA. Iranian opposition leader Mir Hossein Mousavi and his wife Zahra Rahnavard, who have been under house arrest for more than three years, met with their daughters, APA reports quoting Radiofarda.

The daughters said that their parents’ physical conditions are good, but their mother needs medical assistance. Rahnavard is suffering from high pulse rate and blood pressure. At the meeting with his daughters Mousavi expressed his views on the economic situation and living conditions of the people.


Iranian opposition leaders Mir Hossein Mousavi, his wife Zahra Rahnavard have been under house arrest and reformist cleric Mehdi Karroubi under solitary confinement of Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and Security 'Ettelat' for more than 1,000 days. His son Mohammad Taghi Karoubi asked Iranian President Hassan Rohani to put his father at least under house arrest.
