Baku-APA. Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Wednesday said that Pakistan has no scope of winning a fourth war, if any, between the two arch-rivals, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

"There is no scope of Pakistan winning any such war, at least in my lifetime," Singh told the media in the national capital.

The Indian prime minister's remarks came in the wake of media reports about Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's comments that "Kashmir is a flashpoint" that could trigger a fourth war between the two neighboring nations.

"Kashmir is a flashpoint and can trigger a fourth war between the two nuclear powers at anytime," Sharif was quoted by the Pakistani media as saying on Tuesday.

However, the Pakistan prime minister's office has reportedly described the media reports as "baseless, incorrect and based on mala fide intentions."

India and Pakistan have fought at least three wars over the disputed territory of Kashmir in the last 60 years.
