The radical Taliban movement will not agree to the proposal of the Afghan government to share power with it in exchange for a cessation of hostilitie, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said, APA reports citing The Times newspaper.
"The Taliban will not accept Kabul's proposal to share power and a ceasefire. Our goal is to put an end to foreign intervention and form an Islamic government in the country," he said. "We will be ready for a truce. If Kabul is not ready to agree with our demands, then it will be easy for us to continue the struggle and wage jihad."
