Syria has temporarily suspended passenger and cargo transportation at the Nasib border crossing with Jordan due to the situation in Daraa province, APA reports.
The decision was reportedly made after Jordanian military aircraft carried out strikes on Syrian territory.
According to the Daraa provincial administration, at least five civilians were killed in the Jordanian airstrikes.
Women and children were among those killed. Information about casualties in other settlements is being clarified.
It should be noted that Jordan carried out strikes on positions of extremist groups in southern Syria on October 26.
