Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated on Tuesday that Tehran is currently "not focused" on negotiations with the United States, APA reports.
At the same time, he noted that Iran is expecting the outcome of its talks with Oman regarding the management of the Strait of Hormuz.
"We should not make the US accustomed to attacking whenever it wants and coming to negotiate whenever it wants," Gharibabadi said, as quoted by the Iranian media.
At the same time, he warned that if no deal with Oman is reached, the Strait will remain closed, adding that Iran will only accept navigation via its designated route.
