Four members of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) from the city of Kashan were killed in joint U.S. and Saudi Arabian strikes on facilities of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi), Iranian media said, APA reports.
It should be noted that on July 28, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and the Saudi Armed Forces carried out joint strikes on facilities belonging to Iran-backed armed groups in Iraq.
The United States said the operation was conducted in response to attacks by Iran-backed groups against U.S. forces and Saudi Arabia's energy infrastructure.
