Hoshyar Zebari: â€œWe will strongly condemn those who try to tackle Iranian-Iraqi relationsâ€

Iran and Iraq will discuss border problems again at the next meetings, said Iranian foreign minister Manuchehr Mottaki at a press conference in Baghdad after the meeting with his Iraqi counterpart Hoshyar Zebari, APA reports quoting the Iranian state-run television.

Mottaki said the two countries would begin discussions over the delimitation of the borders next week. He also criticized the foreign media organizations for damaging the Iranian-Iraqi relations. â€œThey can not damage sincere relations between the two countries. They are mistakenly thinking about thatâ€.

Iraqi foreign minister Hoshyar Zebari called the Iranian foreign ministerâ€™s visit to Iraq as a sign of intention to solve any problem between the two countries via dialogue. â€œThere are clear and transparent relations between the two countries now. And we will strongly condemn those who try to tackle the Iranian-Iraqi relationsâ€, said Zebari.
